PETERSON FARMSTEAD
Picture
Picture

The Peterson Farmstead is surrounded by open fields and is located within the northern part of Mount Desert Island
in Maine. The principal buildings on the site are a Revival American Foursquare type house with a pyramid roof, and a
large barn which has a gambrel roof and stall windows on the long side.  There is an attached addition to the barn also
with a gambrel roof.   In addition, there is a small gable roof barn which has an attached storage area.  The buildings
are in good condition and have been adapted to other uses.
